RAY RICE
General Manager. Ray brings over 20 years of business development experience from the heavy equipment, aerospace, and defense industries. Before joining CIS, Ray was part of the CM Labs Simulations sales team as their Eastern Account Manager. Ray is well-versed in construction equipment simulators and has a keen eye for how simulation-based training, software tools, and technology can be leveraged to improve the proficiency of equipment operators.

LARRY JOHNS
Crane & Rigging Trainer & Examiner, SME. Larry is a seasoned, highly qualified, and well respected professional with a distinguished career in the construction industry spanning over 45 years as an Iron Worker, Advanced Rigger, Crane Operator, Craft Instructor, and Practical Examiner. He is a sought-after trainer with in-depth knowledge of NCCER certification standards, proven abilities in creating training curriculum and evaluating performance at different skill levels. As a strong leader in the field and classroom, he has a successful track record of preparing novice and journeyman-level workers for certification as Crane Operators and Riggers. Additionally Larry is certified in OSHA 30hr-510-500 and as an OSHA Construction Trainer.

DANNY WOODALL
Crane & Rigging Inspector/Trainer & Examiner. Danny’s diverse construction industry background brings valuable knowledge and skill to CIS in Rigging, Crane Operations, Safety, and Training. He is an experienced Safety Manager, certified CCO Crane Operator, MSHA instructor, NCCER Certified Craft Instructor, as well as a Qualified Crane Inspector. Danny enjoys sharing his knowledge and understanding about safety, cranes and rigging with others to create a safer workforce. When he is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and family and playing with their dogs.

GARY LLOYD
Senior Crane & Rigging Specialist. Gary is a crane inspector and provides non-destructive testing, maintenance, and repairs of equipment. He has more than 40 years of experience as a crane mechanic, crane erector, and service manager for telescopic and lattice boom, friction and hydraulic, mobile cranes both rubber tired or crawler. Gary is an NCCER Certified Instructor and Examiner.

John Dorsey
Crane & Rigging Inspector/Trainer & Examiner. With over 25 years of rigging experience, John’s extensive knowledge of rigging comes from his 10 years in the US Navy as well as in civilian employment. He has worked as a craft supervisor in various facilities including nuclear and coal burning power plants, Tesla, BAE Ship Yards, and at Cape Canaveral for NASA and SpaceX. He is a certified NCCER Rigger, Mobile Crane Operator, Practical Examiner, Craft Instructor, and Iron Worker, as well as a Qualified Crane Inspector. John is passionate about sharing his knowledge about Rigging and Safety with others.

JOHN BROWN
Crane & Rigging Trainer & Examiner. John has over thirty years of technical teaching both in and out of uniform. He brings extensive rigging, engineering, worksite safety, supervision and technical writing skills to the task of NCCER rigging and mobile crane craft instructor. He is a Certified Safety and Health Manager. John has a thorough grasp of the mechanical principles involved in mobile crane and lifting, based on education, work experience, and his ten years working as a certification course instructor and examiner. Making difficult concepts easy-to-grasp is his specialty, and his most satisfying moments have been seeing candidates gain confidence and understanding.

BRIAN MONTGOMERY
Crane Inspector and Examiner. Brian has over 20 years of experience as a crane operator specializing in heavy lifting, marine construction, salvage, highway/bridge construction, and crane erection as well as advanced rigging. He is an NCCCO and NCCER certified crane operator, a qualified crane inspector, and a practical examiner. A Charleston SC native, most of Brian’s experience in the industry has been in the ocean and waterways on barges. Outside of work he enjoys hunting and fishing, playing music, songwriting, and spending time with his family.

LAINIE GRANT
Training and Assessment Program Director. Lainie is an NCCER Certified Program Director, Master Trainer, and Proctor and a CCO Test Site Administrator. In her role at CIS, Lainie manages the oversight of the Accredited Assessment Program and candidate registrations for testing, which result in certification with the CCO and NCCER nationally accredited programs, and also resolves any certification or testing conflicts. With over 30 years of customer service experience, she brings a cheerful attitude and deep commitment to excellence in every facet of her position, from assisting team members in their roles to empowering customers to achieve their NCCER and CCO certification goals.

ANGELA STRANGE
Accounting & Billing Manager. Angela has been with CIS since 2011. She began working in customer service, scheduling inspections, and maintaining the status of CIS certifications. Currently, Angela manages Accounts Receivable and Payable and oversees the tasks of sending invoices to customers for inspections and training, as well as monitoring outstanding balances to ensure each account is current. Angela has strong communication skills and is a problem-solver and critical thinker. Her years of experience with CIS have given her an in-depth knowledge of industry best practices, and she is committed to excellence in her work. In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with family, which includes her husband Jim, two daughters, and seven grandchildren.

JOY TANSILL
Assessment Program Manager. Joy is a certified NCCER Administrator, Master Trainer, and Proctor. Whether she is registering and proctoring candidates for certification or preparing training materials, Joy desires to provide the best training and certification experience for CIS customers. She also schedules and provides quotes for inspections, training, and special programs, and provides general administrative support to CIS inspectors and trainers. Joy is committed to excellence in service.

ASLIN BACILIO
Marketing Specialist. With over 15 of customer service, sales, and marketing experience, Aslin brings a strong dedication to enhance the CIS brand visibility and drive customer engagement while promoting CIS training, testing, and certification programs as well as our crane inspection service. Outside of work Aslin enjoys nature, serving at a local food bank, and spending time with her daughter. She also loves and believes in God and enjoys reading and studying the Bible.

CHRISTINE MCCOY
Business Relationship Manager. Christine brings over 37 years of customer service experience to CIS. She is the master scheduler for the CIS calendar, working with CIS customers to schedule training classes as well as inspections. She is also responsible for quotes for our services. Christine brings to CIS a cheerful personality, attention to detail, and a desire to provide excellent customer service. She has a heart for missions, both locally and abroad. In her spare time, she prepares shoebox gifts to be distributed to needy children around the world. She also loves working on puzzles, taking cruises, and spending time with her family.

JIM STRANGE
NCCER Certified Proctor. Jim is responsible for monitoring and overseeing the administration of NCCER written exams at customer sites, making certain to uphold the integrity of the exam-taking process. Jim is one of the newer CIS team members and brings to CIS the vast customer service and problem-solving skills he acquired during the many years he owned and operated his own business. His calm demeanor, attention to detail, and sense of humor make him an excellent proctor, especially when test takers are experiencing testing anxiety. He also has excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife of 37 years and spoiling their seven grandchildren.
